WVU travels to James Madison University for season opener

WVU 3-James Madison 22  The Mountaineers traveled to Harrisonburg, VA to take on Chesapeake Conference power JMU.  The first half showed our inexperience in the pack with JMU scoring four tries.  Our four new forwards settled in after half time and played with confidence and determination, combining with our strong, experienced back line to hold JMU scoreless.  This was an excellent opportunity to gain experience, show areas needing improvement, and prepare for our conference opener next week.
